FOOD BANK NEEDS YOUR HELP
Items Needed for BBMS Food Bank: Bonnie Branch has its own food bank for families of students who are struggling to make ends meet. It is currently nearly empty. The next time you go grocery shopping, PLEASE pick up an extra item or 2 and send them in to the guidance office. Our Pupil Personnel Worker has suggested: Macaroni & Cheese, pasta and sauce, tuna, peanut butter and jelly. Sizes that would feed a family of 4 work better, but nothing will be turned down. Thank you!

Attention: eSchoolnewsletter has been replaced by HPCSS News: The Howard County Public School System has switched e-communication vendors. To ensure that you continue to receive messages from the school system and the PTA, subscribe to the new service, HCPSS News at www.hcpssnews.com. The new system offers subscribers the option of receiving messages in three languages: English, Spanish, and simple Chinese. Korean will be available shortly. If you are interested in receiving messages in Korean, please sign up for English messages and you will be alerted when Korean becomes available
PTA MEMEBERSHIP UPDATE
We would like to inform the BBMS community that we have an enrollment of 678 students this year. Based on the number of parents with children enrolled in BBMS, we thought it would be helpful to share that we have 298 of our parent population enrolled in their local PTA this year. If you have not enrolled please consider doing so. If you have already done so, we would like to thank all of you for your help and support in reaching students, teacher and administration goals.
BONUS BUCKS
Starting October 9, 2009, Bonnie Branch will have the opportunity to earn cash through Giant A+ BonusBucks Program. If you would like to participate, log on to to register online or dial 1-877-366-2668 to register your card over the phone. After you register your card, each shopping trip to Giant using your BonusCard earns CASH for our school! Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school's educational needs. Attending to this simple process makes a HUGE difference to our school. We need your support! Please be sure to register your card to benefit Bonnie Branch using ID #04239. REMEMBER, EVEN IF YOU REGISTERED YOUR CARD LAST YEAR, YOU MUST RE-REGISTER THIS YEAR FOR OUR SCHOOL TO RECEIVE CREDIT.
